Crash Barriers (Czech Republic)
The crash barriers on the Highway D1 in Velky Beranov between Prague and Brno in the highland region were originally hot-dip galvanised. A lot of salt had been used in order to protect the highway from ice and snow. After approx. 12 years, the oxidised surface was cleaned and Zinga was applied by brush. The application took place in August 1994. On 19/09/00 the layer thickness was measured by Mr. Michal Stavar from the company Grane. He measured between 110 to 148 µm of Zinga still remaining.

Duesseldorf Crash Barriers (Germany)

Mississippi Department of Transport (USA)
The "Corrosion Prevention and Control Update" was issued in 1997. It describes the research that has been done by the US Army in order to reduce the costs spent on anti-corrosion protection by 30%. Included is a list of approved vendors, amongst which Zingametall.

Several bridges are considered to be strategic spots and are therefore placed under military command. That is why the MDOT is referring to the research by the US Army for the refurbishment of the bridges over the Mississippi.

In the press release dated 23/12/99 congressman Gene Taylor announced the recoating of the I-110 Bridge at d'Iberville with Zinga. This 500 foot bascule bridge is the first of all the bridges over the Mississippi that will be coated with Zinga: the start of an enormous project in the USA.

Crash Barriers (Singapore)
